Q: What occurs during the first session?
A: This appointment lays the foundation for the ones that follow. It is referred to as an intake which includes discussing and reviewing practice policies and disclosures as well as gathering relevant historical information. It's equally important to clarify your goals and hopes for therapy during this session. Your comfort is always top priority so we will progress through the session at the pace that feels most comfortable.

Q: How often are sessions?
A: Consistently it has been found that the greatest progress is experienced when sessions are engaged in on a weekly basis until goals have been accomplished.

Q: If I schedule a consultation call with you, do I have to proceed with an appointment?
A: No. I encourage you to speak with multiple therapists to determine the best fit for your personality and goals. This is a great way to have agency in your choice with freedom to explore and practice advocating for yourself.

Q: How long are the appointments?
A: 45-50 minutes
